At The Good Cake, we’re more than a bakery—we’re a dedicated to restoring dignity and ending hunger among Hong Kong's grandparents living in poverty. A part of our proceeds goes to buying much-needed rice and nutritious meals for vulnerable elders in our city.

Did you know? More than 580,000 elderly live in abject poverty in Hong Kong, and for many - when it is a choice between rent, medical bills, utilities and transport - food is always the first sacrifice.
We have, since our launch sent away 4.7 tonnes of rice, the equivalent of 73,000 meals to our elderly friends.

The Good Birthday - Nurturing Mental Health & Belonging
In partnership with St. James’ Settlement, The Good Cake launched The Good Birthday in May 2025—delivering our signature birthday cakes to elderly individuals who rarely have their birthdays celebrated. By marking these special days, we help foster belonging, fight loneliness, and bring genuine joy to Hong Kong’s seniors.
